Nomination Process
Nominations will be accepted throughout the year with the Nomination Committee meeting once a year in May to review new nominations along with those nominated from previous years. During the committee meeting a group of finalist will be chosen and notified by June 1st via written letter.
*Applications for the inaugural year (2011) will need to be submitted by May 1st, 2011*
The Nomination Committee will consist of:
The Director of Parks and Recreation
Two Rittman Recreation Board of Directors members
The Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce for the City of Rittman
The Special Events Coordinator of the Rittman Recreation Center

Nominees will receive the following:
One year of having there memorabilia and nomination letter displayed in a frame in the Rittman Recreation Centers Community Room
(After the one year period the Nominee (posthumously whoever nominates them) will receive the frame)
A small ceremony in which there letter will be read to the public
The recognition of having their name on a plague with the year they were inducted placed in the Community Room at The Rittman Recreation Center
The recognition of having their name and year they were inducted placed on the Rittman Recreation Center website
