Dear Patrons of Rittman and Surrounding Communities,
The Rittman Recreation Center will not be handling the programs of Youth Travel Baseball (Boys ages 9-12) or Girl’s Travel Softball (Girl’s ages 9-18) this year. A group of volunteers have stepped up to form a committee who will now handle all signups and programming dealing with travel leagues. The Committee is made up of coaches and volunteers who have been around the system and I believe that they will do a fine job of running these programs. Contact information for the new committee can be found in a handout coming home from the schools or by contacting the Rittman Recreation Center.
The Recreation Center will continue to run the Youth Co-Ed Tee-Ball and Co-Ed Coach Pitch Programs as well as the adult league.
It has been an honor and great learning experience running these programs over the past four years. I know that they have been placed in good hands with the people who care very much about the youth.

Rittman Youth (R.Y.B.S) Signups For Boys Travel Baseball (9-10,11-12)* and Girls Travel Softball (10u,12u,14u,18u)* At the Rittman Rec Center 6pm-8pm: Tues 2/21, Wed 2/22, Thurs 2/23 3pm - 6pm: Sat 2/25 Cost: $50 (checks made to R.Y.B.S.) * Please note: These programs are not associated with the Rittman Recreation Center or the City of Rittman. Boys and Girls Travel Baseball programs are being independently run through the Rittman Youth Baseball and Softball Organization (R.Y.B.S) Co-Ed Tee Ball (Ages 4,5,6) Registration Period: Feb 1st to Mar 15th, 2012. Must be 4 years old by April 1st, 2012. Must not turn 7 years old prior to April 1st, 2012. Member Price: $35 / Non-member Price: $45

NOTE: The RRC Pool is closed from 12pm-3pm during the school week.
When Rittman schools are not in session the pool is open all day.
